FOR KIDS: (August 29-September 4) Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, "Proverbs 4"

Proverbs are little snippets of wisdom, as if from a loving parent.

Have your child find their way through the maze. You may want to help guide them if they ask for help as Heavenly Father helps us when we ask for help.

Read Proverbs 4:11-12, and 18-19 and talk about what they mean. What do verses 26 and 27 mean to you?

Another scripture about paths is Proverbs 3:5-6. What does each part mean? How can we apply “in all thy ways acknowledge Him?”

How have you been guided in your life? Share stories as a family of your experiences and those of your ancestors being guided by Heavenly Father.

Optional Activity:

Do you have any family proverbs? Write them down.

Is there a saying, or wisdom that has been passed down from your ancestors?

As you read Proverbs this week, write down your favorites and the ones you feel apply to you. Share them and discuss what they mean.
